ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Workshop 2 moved the AIMS Project from shared understanding into early-stage co-creation. Students worked with industry mentors to explore real-world challenges, strengthen their project ideas and consider how AI could be applied responsibly within interdisciplinary and international teams.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Students worked in cross-disciplinary and cross-country groups to refine AI-related project ideas under the broader theme of Sustainable AI & Circular Economy.

Mentors provided guidance on problem definition, feasibility, ethical considerations, value proposition, real-world relevance and early pitch development.

AI for Responsible Entrepreneurship
Using AI to support entrepreneurs and SMEs in developing sustainable business models, responsible innovation and ethical technology practices.

Responsible Startup AI Toolkit
Developing practical resources that help founders integrate responsible AI principles into their businesses from an early stage.

Bias Busting AI
Exploring tools and approaches that identify, explain and reduce bias in AI systems to improve fairness, inclusion and trust.

Students developed clearer and more focused project problems.

Groups clarified the value and relevance of their proposed solutions.

Students identified a stronger direction for developing their ideas and final outputs.

Groups received industry perspectives on feasibility, ethics and real-world impact.

Students strengthened teamwork across disciplines and countries.

IMPACT & CONTRIBUTION

Workshop 2 translated the ideas introduced in the first workshop into practical co-creation activities. Through mentor engagement and group discussion, students strengthened their capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration, responsible AI development and industry-relevant problem-solving.

The session also strengthened connections between students, mentors and real-world challenges while preparing the groups for the next stage of project development.
